Redspira 2.6

Redspira is a collaborative air quality monitoring project that establishes a network of low-cost monitors to measure and report various variables related to atmospheric pollution. One of the primary objectives of this initiative is to raise awareness among the residents of Mexicali about the impact that air quality has on their health and overall well-being.

To achieve this, Redspira has developed web platforms, including https://app.respira.org/ and https://mapa.respira.org/, as well as mobile applications that provide real-time monitoring of data from Redspira sensors (developed in-house), Purple Air (a commercial public-use network), and regulatory monitoring stations operated by local and state government authorities.

The web-based map allows users to explore different areas of Mexicali, displaying sensor locations and their measurements visually, utilizing a color-coded system corresponding to the levels of pollution. The project employs AQI NowCast and Air Quality Index for reporting air quality status. Redspira is an initiative by Certuit Consultores, S.C.
